The Kyoto Global Design Awards provides an invaluable opportunity for your work to be seen by the world.

Nominations for the Kyoto Global Design Awards can be submitted by individuals/organizations/schools or local media. The GSA committee can also directly nominate designers who have recently developed exceptional projects in one of the 7 categories of the award.

100 Outstanding Projects of the Year nominated by the Global Sustainable Association (GSA) and the Kyoto Global Design Awards Committee.
Environmental design encompasses fields such as architectural design, interior design, public art, urban planning, landscape design and more.
Industrial design includes computer-aided design, furniture, transportation, product, software, systems, and more.
Visual communication design includes advertising design, packaging design, illustration design, animation design, web design, information design, interaction design, UI/UX design and more.
Fashion design fields eligible for the Kyoto Global Design Awards include cosmetic design, fashion design, jewellery design and more.
Design theory encompasses areas such as design history, design criticism and related academic disciplines.
Real estate design encompasses areas such as commercial development, real estate marketing, recreational facility development, multipurpose building development, office development, public facility development, residential development, high-rise development and more.
The Kyoto Global Design Awards recognizes outstanding hospitality, reception and commercial spaces.

Application and Selection Process

Kyoto Design Awards winners are selected through a rigorous process. Various criteria and perspectives are reviewed and evaluated to select the best designers who have contributed the most to current trends and influences.
